Programs are research-based and gathered by the Girls Inc. National Resource Center. We encourage girls ages 6-18 to take healthy risks and master physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges. Girls receive Life Skills Training. Programs are facilitated by professionally trained, caring staff.

    Latinas Y Que is is the newest addition to Girls Inc. of San Diego County's list of impacting programs. This weekly leadership development program is designed specifically for girls with Mexican and Central-American heritage. Latinas can share their cultural pride and, at the same time, set goals for college, careers, and roles they can play in their communities.

    Girls Inc. Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy helps girls identify ways and reasons to avoid early pregnancy. The program bolsters girls' skills, motivation, and resources for being in charge of their sexual health and avoiding teen pregnancy.

    Girls Inc. Media Literacy teaches girls to analyze what they see and hear on television, film, and music. Girls learn to critically think about the messages imposed on them by the media and advocate for images they would like to see.
